A Burden for Souls: 2016-2022

Introduction: This world is in crisis! Please share this very important message with every Jew, Muslim and Christian.
If you believe that Jesus was born of virgin Mary and His life was recorded in Holy Scripture, then after reading the Bible you should know that He was identified by many names – one of which is “God.” Do you really believe that Jesus is God and deserves our total devotion?
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.” – Isaiah 45:5-8
Our very life is a gift from God. We would not exist on Planet Earth had it not been for His creative inclinations. We are made in His image for a purpose that was compromised by the Evil One. The only way to undo the damage done because of disobedience is to acknowledge the Divinity of Jesus Christ, accept Him as Lord and Savior – and then allow the Holy Spirit to be a guide in all things pertaining to daily life.
Jesus Is God; Repent Or Perish.
If we expect to be alive for 120 years or less, what is it we want to accomplish before we die? Have we prioritized our options correctly? Do we devote most of our time, energy, talent and resources in a constant struggle to gain more things of this world – or things of the Kingdom of God? Are we trying to please our fleshly self or are we devoted to pleasing Jesus?
We should realize that every treasure known to humankind has less value than one soul. Do we really understand why souls composed of spirits are more valuable than material things? All of the “stuff” most people work hard to possess will disappear and be gone someday, but souls have the potential to exist eternally. What do you and most Christians you know value more, the things of this world or souls?
Having a burden for souls is natural for true Christians. We are respectful and kind towards those who suffer and we want to be of service in ways that honor our Master. We want to reach lost souls who have rebelled against God and want to see them back on track into His perfect will for their lives.
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” – Proverbs 11:30
Having a burden for souls is a vital part of how true Christians plan their activities. Sharing the good news about Christ is more important than talking about bad news. Sharing the good things of life with neighbors is better than erecting fences and keeping doors locked between us. We choose to share courtesy instead of condemnation, friendship instead of hostility, and compassion instead of cruelty. “Souls” are more important than bodies made of flesh, recreational sex, money, egotistical pride, luxurious lifestyles, fame or earthly power. Only “invisible souls” should be counted worthy of survival in places where humankind is experiencing turmoil, death and destruction on a daily basis.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Matthew 16:25&26
If you believe yourself to be a true Christian, ask your family members, friends and strangers if they have a little time to talk. Ask them if they believe in God. Ask them if they believe Jesus is God. Ask them if they read the Bible. Ask them if they care more about money, sex, fancy houses, cars, movies, computer games, buying new clothes, pigging out at fast food restaurants, walking around the mall, screaming at ball games, complaining about politicians or taking trips to Disneyland... than spreading good news about Jesus. Get brave and ask them if they believe in Heaven and Hell. Ask if they have ever sinned, repented of sin, accepted Jesus into their heart or memorized John 3:16. If they get mad, recite John 3:16 and pray for’em; If they say they want to be a Christian and ask you to lead them in the salvation prayer, do it. Before you leave, give’em a big hug and tell’em they are loved by you and God. (Also, it might be a good idea to warn them about Satan and his idiot demons).
This really is the final generation. We really are on the path to Armageddon. The only hope true Christians have is that Jesus will come to take us out of this mess before the crap hits the fan. Otherwise, it will take separation of body and soul to catch the early flight off this planet.
Wouldn’t it be great if everyone we know and everyone we have never known will be with us in Heaven for ever? Please visit these web sites for more info:
